First and foremost, I believe strongly in supporting local economy, so if you wish to buy any products you see on Girl Meets Green, and can find them at a small business close to you, I highly encourage you to do so.

However, I understand that some of these products can be difficult to find, or maybe you just don’t have the time or resources to get what you need. In those cases, sites like Amazon and Vitacost are a huge help.

With that being said, many of the product links you see on GMG are affiliate links. This means if you click on the link and make a purchase within 24 hours, I will receive a small commission (the price stays the same for you).

Most products mentioned on this site (affiliate or not) are items that I personally use and/or support and would recommend without payment. (I say most because some products I talk about or even use are what I like to call "transitional items". Meaning they aren't 100% perfect, but they are a better alternative than what we were using, and they are a realistic way to start making a positive change. Baby steps.)

I only endorse products and companies that are in alignment with my mission and that I believe would be of value to you. One of the goals of this blog is to help you create positive changes in your life, and I will only link to, advertise, and support products or resources (affiliate or otherwise) that fit within this purpose.

If a post is sponsored by a company, I will disclose that within the post. I try to be very mindful about what I recommend and that holds true for sponsored posts.

One disclaimer I’d like to give here is that this is all a learning process for me. And sometimes products and companies can be misleading. If I discover that an item I endorse is not up to my standards, it will be removed from GMG and I may or may not give an explanation (as I see fit). Along that same line, if you see a product you know to contain harmful chemicals, use bad environmental practices, have unfair working conditions, or any other trait that does not respect the Earth and her inhabitants, please let me know and I will look into it as soon as I can.

These are the companies I have an affiliate relationship with:
(This list will be updated whenever affiliate relationships are added or removed.)

  • Amazon
  • Juice Beauty
  • TOMS
  • Danielle Laporte

If and when you decide to purchase something through any of my affiliate links, please know that it is greatly appreciated. This blog does not exist purely to make money, but what little money it can earn helps me to keep it going.

Every little bit is a blessing, so thank you!
